Passion for Ethics

Computer consultants, and technicians have no legal obligations in most areas. This is unlike any other professional service to the public. Electricians, Doctors, Nurses, Real Estate Agents and many other professional services have various regulations to which they must comply and boards to whom they are held accountable.

When it comes to computer services the adage "Buyer Beware" is all that protects consumers. Consumers should be aware that any one can identify themselves as a computer technician, computer engineer or similar title. There is no state agency that regulates people working in information technology.
